Policies

  • All frames with lenses cut to fit are final sale. Due to the personal nature of the process, we are unable to offer returns as lenses are cut to your measurements & frames have been worn & adjusted to the face. If your mind changes before they are processed, deposit will be kept on file as a credit for a future purchase or it can be transferred onto a gift card. If an issue arises where a discussion needs to be had about your satisfaction with your purchase, please reach out as in the end, your happiness & excitement for your eyewear is why I’m doing this & we can figure something out.

  • When it comes to insurance claims please no funny business. I value my profession & my industry network. I will help you get the most out of your insurance but I will never sacrifice my licence for your “prescription” sunglasses. We can do things legally.

  • If a fitting appointment needs to be rescheduled, please allow 48 hours notice. I will happily reschedule you. Your fitting deposit will be transferred to confirmed appointment date.

  • Both frame & lenses are warrantied for 1 year against manufacturer defects. If you “just took them out of the case like that” I totally get it, life happens & will work hard to find a solution that works for both of us. Non adapt & prescription changes are covered within a 30days after pick up for a one time no charge change. Further changes & charges associated will be at the Opticians discretion.

  • Frames such as second chance, vintage & guest collections are not covered under warranty (it will always be noted).If something happens I can try to source something similar or we can discuss further & find a solution. I got you!

  • If you are trusting us with a pre existing frame/frame not from us whether it be for adjustments or re lensing this is ALWAYS at your own risk. Frames can get brittle over time & although both myself & the labs I entrust are highly skilled, sometimes accidents happen. We will not responsible for any breakage that happens, however, I will always do our best to be careful & will be there to assist in a solution whether it be sourcing parts, sending for repair or finding a replacement.

  • All personal medical information taken is confidential & will be kept for 7 years as per the The Personal Health Information Protection Act in Ontario.

Before your Fitting

  • Send a copy of your prescription or we can get it sent at time of appointment. This just helps me visualize the end product & make appropriate lens selections for your visual needs. It can also be sent along after as I can complete measurements and recommendations based on estimate.

  • Insurance information if you have it & would like us to direct bill for you. We take most major insurance policies.

  • Let me know the vibe you are looking for so I can curate a selection for your fitting.

  • Fitting appointments aren’t intended to browse but for those with serious intent to purchase. A $30 deposit will be taken for one to one fittings. If you want to have a preliminary consult I can schedule a remote zoom meeting & we can discuss & I can go through what I have.

During your Fitting

  • We will have some fun trying on the curated selection

  • Once final selection has been made, we will discuss vision needs & solidify lens choices, take measurements & discuss any extras. There will be special pricing for multiple pair orders.

  • The order will be placed same day & you can expect 7-10 business day turn around. You will be notified when your order is ready by whichever means discussed.

  • Deposit of 50% will be required on all orders or you can fully pay for your order at time of fitting, this includes clients who wish to utilize their personal insurance coverage. Itemized receipts will be sent upon full payment of invoice.

  • I will be back to certain locations bi-weekly or we can make individual time where you will be fit with your new eyewear. Shipping may also be an option & we can do a pre fitting so you will be good to go when your eyewear arrives

  • Adjustments & final tweaks are made to make sure you are comfortable with your new glasses. After your adaptation period (usually 2 weeks), please reach out if you are experiencing any issues, I’m always here to help!
